Hello, my name is Gulamo. I live in Sint-Niklaas, a small city near Antwerp (Belgium). I am female, 42 and I work as photographer(Nature/Travel/Fashion/Portraits/Food). I live in a small studio, so I can only offer you a matrass on the floor (please bring your own sleepingbag). I keep my place clean and peaceful. No sigarettes, alcohol & drugs or uninvited people in the house! You can use my kitchinette, but you will have to buy your own food. It's a 10 min walk to the trainstation. By train : --> Antwerp 20 min --> Gent 30 min --> Brugge 60 min --> Brussel 60 min --> Oostende 1 hour 30 min --> Paris 2 hours --> Amsterdam 2 hours I'll do my best, to make your stay a pleasant one. i don't have an extra room, i live in one room apartment so you will be sleeping on a (little) couch or there is an extra (double) bed. I live alone in the center of Antwerp in the middle of the student area. My apartment is a large room divided into two parts with downstairs kitchen, bathroom and living room and upstairs I have an open space where my bedroom is and I have a fantastic view of Antwerp from my kitchen window. The main shopping street and public transport is on a 2 min walk. I would love to give you a tour in my town and the rest of Belgium but I am a student so I have to go to school from time to time, just keep that in mind. I have 2 pretty comfortable couches plus an extra room in my house with a bed that no one sleeps in. I live in my parents house with my two sisters. I have a dog, but he's the kindest dog you'll ever meet. I smoke casually. Edegem is pretty close to Antwerp so it's ideal if you want to visit Antwerp. A bus ride to Antwerp takes 20 to 30 minutes and the bus stop is 10-15 minutes walk distance, less than 5 minutes with a bike. I could show you around if I have enough time on my hands. I prefer to go to bed before 1 AM except when there's a party going on. I can host most of the time, just ask. I have blankets. How many days is depends on how we get along :).
Since I share my house with 3 roommates, you'll have to sleep in my room. We have some spare mattresses, which we can put on the floor. It's less than a few hundred meters from a tram-stop, so you can quickly go anywhere in town. It's a 15 minute walk to one of the big train stations in Antwerp (berchem station). Hosting during the week is a bit inconvenient, as I go to bed around 10-11PM and get out at 6, and I don't get back home until at least 7PM. And I can't give you a key, because my housemates don't like that idea. But during weekends I'm mostly free and I can rearrange whatever schedule I have to suit you best =)
We have a spacious house with gardens; It is 1930's and completely renovated. There are 3 floors and the topfloor could be yours. We have 2 single beds or a 2-person futon. It is clean and with a marvelous view. We have internet, phone and if you are not too picky you can share our home cooked diner. My moules-frites are specialty of the house :-) We are on walking distance of a huge park, shops and 5 minutes away from the Central Station. If you give me notice in due time I will be host and guide to places you would never see on your own. All I expect is no smoking inside and be open to other opinions and culture.
Couch in the livingroom from the moment i go to bed, you'll have full privacy in this livingroom. two acts are living with me and the couch is normally theirs, so it could happen that they come to cuddle at your feet (if that is a problem or if you are allergic to cats recondisder my couch) lots of public transport from train to my place and from y place to everywhere in antwerp. i liv at the border of the centre, everything within 20' walikng distance. feel free to use my kitchen, bathroom, computer,.. but with respect plz. don't just eat, provide aswell if possible.
Two rooms, one with a double bed, and one with a single bed and an extra matrass, in a townhouse in Ekeren, a district of Antwerp, 9 km north of the city center. Close to shops, pubs and public transport (bus and train). Feel free to use the bathroom and the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. I can only host guests in the even weeks, as in those weeks my kids are at their mother's place. My place could be a great base to explore the city of Antwerp, the Antwerp harbour and nature in our area north of Antwerp.
Studio with a spared mattress in Berchem, 15 min by bike from Antwerp city. I live close to everything: shops, public transport (train, tram, bus), restaurants, etc. Easy connection from airport to my place by local transport! Feel free to use internet, tv, kitchen (please buy own food), music, etc. Great place to explore the beauty of Antwerp. Also Brussels (capital) is very easy to get by train (45min). Hope you like cats, because I have one lovely cat with a great character ;-)!
Spare room in a big detachted house with a beautiful garden and a pond. In the suburb of Antwerp. Feel free to use the kitchen and bathroom and our food while you are here, In front of our house is a parc where you can walk of jog. Public transport to city centre or train station is no problem. Our place would be a great base to explore Brussels, Brugge, Gent ... Antwerp is well known for his fashion and diamonds and of course his famous painter Rubens. We can easily host a couple.
very nice room under the roof with double bath. it is a 20 min ride to tthe center of the city of Antwerp, and we are a 5 minutes walk from the train station (Mortsel). We are half an hour away from Brussels, an hour from Brugges. We live in a very quiet neigbourghood. In summertime we set up a nice swimmingpool fot the kids (4x4m, depth appr. 1,5 m), wich you off course can also use. You can use the kitchen for coocking your meals and making breakfast, or we can eat together.
