We have either a spare bed, spare matress, or tons of room to set up a tent. We live in a 3 bedroom/2bath/2 story house in the country. We are 6 miles from Redmond, OR, 7 miles from Bend, OR and about 15 miles from Sisters, OR. Unfortunately, public transportation is not available where we live, so a car is needed. However, there are nice country roads for bicycling and I believe we have a few extra bikes in the barn. We have 2 dogs, 7 cats, 3 goats, 30 chickens and horses in the pasture. We have lovely views of the snow-capped Cascade Range. Central Oregon has spectacular natural beauty. We are 3 hours from Portland, OR and about 4 hours from the coast. Winter time brings lots of snow to the mountains and we have fabulous nordic and alpine ski conditions, as well as other winter activities. Warm weather is great for mountain biking, boating, hiking, swimming and exploring the natural beauty. Our house is opened for use, but you will need to purchase your own food. We are non-smokers, non-drinkers and eat vegetarian. We have two young children and would love to have a family with small children join us.
I live in Bend, OR with my girlfriend in a cozy house on the west side of town just a few blocks from downtown, parks and the river. We have a spare bedroom and couch space. We are close to brewpubs, parks, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Very cool, beautiful part of town. We are very laid back and open minded. We drink but no smoking in our house. You can smoke outside. You are welcome to use our kitchen, but please buy your own food. We would be happy to show you around and entertain when we aren't working. Bend is a beautiful place with plenty to do.
Have a private room with standard bed and floor space and mostly private bathroom avaliable. Use of kitchen available but would like to do some meal sharing and learn cultural cooking. We live on a 5 acre farm on the outskirts of town. 15 minute drive to town, pubs and shopping. 45 minutes to rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, mt biking, and snowboarding in the winter. Not a lot of public transport avalible so rental car or private vehicle is good. We can try to show you around sights and sports if time allows since we are regularly active outdoors.
Small room with a double futon sofa in a small 3-bedroom house in a residential neighborhood in Bend. We could also make additional space available in the living room for 1-2 nights if a family with well-behaved children wished to stay with us. No drugs; non-smokers only, please. Local activities include skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, etc. Crater Lake is 2.5-3 hours away. Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here; please replace any significant amount of food you use.
Currently living in Bend, in a small house with a roommate. I really don't have any more bedspace. However, I have lots of floor space and a washer and dryer, feel free to wash some laundry. I am in the city, but unless you have a car, it is a little difficult to get around. You are more then welcome to use the kitchen, but please provide your own food. Bend is a great place to explore the outdoors from the high desert to mountain lakes.
