|We have both a spare room equipped with a double bed - and as we have an en-suite bathroom, this room also has its own bethroom facility.
In addition we have another single room with a single bed and as well another mattress which can be used.
There is also a caravan which is fitted with a double bed.
Hence we are able to accommodate up to 5 guests if needed.
We live on the outskirts of Bendigo which is a very nice rural city of about 100000 people. We are 150 kms from Melbourne which is easily accessible either by road or train ( There are around 20 round trips each day on the train).Either takes about 1.5 to 2.0 hours.
Bendigo is a historical city which played an important part in the Gold Rush era of our country.It is centrally located and close tomany othetr interesting tourist areas.|
|We (f/m couple and kid) have a spare room with double bed in a suburb of Bendigo, California Gully.
We also have a dog who sleeps inside. Once you get to know her she'll charm you.
We also have a pretty big backyard with plenty of space to set up a tent. Lots of bird life amongst the gum trees.
Whether you would call us rural, semi-rural, suburban or a city depends on where you are coming from. I'd call our residence suburban but our Melbourne mates think it's country. You'd best google Bendigo and make your own call.
We're a good spot to stop if youre on your way to Mildura from Melbourne.|

Bendigo is an interesting city built on the discovery of gold, is renowned for its beautiful buildings. Melbourne 1 & 1/2 train or drive north of Melbourne.|
|Large room with Queen sized bed and large bathroom in new open plan home 10 minutes drive from the centre of Bendigo and train station. University also 10 minute drive. Have pets. Plenty of walking/ cycling tracks and bush around neighbourhood. Can borrow bike to ride, use kitchen or outside barbeque - just provide your own food. Front load machine to use - provide your own washing agent. Great location to base to stay. |
|Twin bedroom in our medium sized new home with private bathroom adjacent. We live 8 mins drive from the centre of the town,bus route close by. Can have access to the kitchen & laundry.We are about 90 minutes drive from Melbourne, 60 mins. from Ballarat and the same from The Murray river. The population is around 80,000 so has all facilities etc.Is North of Melbourne in central Victoria.|
|We have a sofa-bed in the office which can be used for short term stays, though it is used as an office during the day so the room would have to be shared! We are about a 20 minute walk from the centre of an old gold-mining town with interesting architecture and surrounded by forest. |
|Spare room in our family home in Bendigo. We are about 20 mins walk from the centre of Bendigo and close to bushland and lake for walking/cycling. Bendigo is an old gold town with interesting achitecture and tourist attractions. We can accomodate singles, a couple or a family.|
|I'm currently living with my parents on their farm 40 minutes from Bendigo. We have a small room, that may be available, depending on whether family/friends are staying. Otherwise, there's the couch.
As it is not my house, all guests would require approval from my mother.|
