Starting the end of Aug. '06, 2 may stay here... futton in livingroom of 1 bedroom apt. on 3rd fl. No elevators!!! Located walking distance to VT and downtown. The city has a good transportation system that connects up to C'burg and Roanoke (airport). Apt. complex located next to fast food and other restaurants. You may use the kitchenette (very small stove) but must buy own food. I don't own the place so must behave, plus, I am somewhat a neat freak (obsesive and compulsive). I will move out at end of this year. I am an animal lover but the apt complex does not allow pets~ I live with my sister and almost every other weekend we have friends and family over. We love people and making new friends so, it might be crowded but always cozy. If you don't mind hanging out with strangers for a weekend, you are more than welcome to come and stay. You can stay here for the weekend... I am usually not available during the week so I won't be of much help M-F. I do smoke but outside. My sister doesn't. We like to party but are not considered party animals. We attend college so the afternoons are not fun but the weekends can be awesome! I speak spanish, korean, and english. I had some french in high school... but that was a long time ago! I am graduating Fall 06 and the place is up on Dec 06 so before then, you may come and stay!
We have a guest room which doubles as an office, but can be private . Its got a single bed which is very comfortable, suitable for one person, a couple,or two Close friends.. We live on the bus line which goes into the town center every 15 min., plus we have many a bike to loan out to guests. We are close to the co-op for food, plus the garden in our own backyard (in season), so some food could be provided. we also have setup for various projects such as silkscreening, sewing, carpentry, electronics, music, stained glass, etc. We live in a gorgeous region with many options for hiking, camping, exploring, and the like.
We live within a few minutes walk of downtown Blacksburg, home of Virginia Tech. Buses around town and to Roanoke are available. Our apartment is a temporary resting place and looks it-- nothing fancy. I live with my boyfriend and one room mate. You can sleep on the couch or floor. It is not wheelchair accessible. You can use the public spaces (kitchen, bathroom, living room, porch) in our house and use our condiments (ketchup, salt, etc) but you must buy your own food and pitch in with light chores. If we have time we'd love to play boardgames, have a drink, or show you around town.
We have a couch a small futon in a small room that we currently use as an office. We live walking distance to Virginia Tech's campus and downtown, where all the resturaunts and bars are. It's a smallish two story townhouse. We also have two small dogs, who are relatively friendly. the bus stop is actually right outside our front door as well. You can use the kitchen if you'd like, however we're vegan so be sure to clean up after yourself if you aren't.
We have a couch in the living room. Live in one of many "student communities" near the Virginia Tech campus. Blacksburg is a small town with the population pretty much consisting of the University students. Most everything in Blacksburg is within walking distance.
I live in a two bedroom apartment within walking distance of Virginia Tech campus. I have a spare air mattress or a couch for accommodations. Unfortunately parking is pretty limited but there are hourly buses to and from the campus and downtown Blacksburg.
I have a 3 seat comfy couch that is in my living room open for freeloaders. I live in Blacksburg so I'm pretty close to the VT campus and downtown. Visitors would have to bring their own food. You are welcome to prepare it in my kitchen though.
Comfortable futon in Blacksburg, VA which is along much traversed 460 and I-81 heading up towards Washington, DC (4.5 hours away). It's a small town, but is a good waystation en route to somewhere bigger.
3-bedroom townhouse (or any of the individual bedrooms) in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Full kitchen, gas fireplace, gas grill on patio. Close to Virginia Tech campus and downtown.
Room in my four bedroom house in Blacksburg. 1.5 km from Virginia Tech and downtown Blacksburg. Dogs okay. Internet at house. You are welcome to use the kitchen and living spaces.
