living room/lots of outside space available in big community household located right in downtown boone. the living room can have drawn curtains, for a bit more privacy. if need be, i could vacate my room for a bit, if folks really needed more privacy. the house has multiple levels and a total of 9 people in it, i'm on the middle floor with two females (i'm male). we have multiple couches, and probably a futon mattress on the floor, and lots of outside space. we could realistically host about 6 people, but larger parties would suit us better if you're more respectful/accommodating to our schedules and whatnot. we have some communal food, and like to cook, but of course welcome folks willing to share with us. we are a five minute walk from downtown (king street), and have parking for your cars/bikes. we're all super friendly, and would love to make your time in boone as pleasant as possible.
Hello, my name is David, and I recently moved to Boone. I am currently looking for a spare bed or a couch until I can get settled here in town. I am a visual artist by trade (paint, draw, etc.) & have had many exhibits, mostly in Charlotte, where I just moved from. I am clean, quiet, and reliable. I am also up for conversation and any question you may have. I have travelled all over the USA hitchhiking, on Greyhound and Amtrak, & roadtripping with friends. I am also a mighty decent cook and hand in the kitchen. I look forward to meeting you! Yours very sincerely... David
We have a guest bedroom with double bed and a pull out couch in our living room (it's out of the flow of traffic, in the back of house) that can accommodate 2. We have 2 overly-friendly dogs & 2 cats who tend to gravitate toward the guest room. We have an air hockey table & dart board and feel free to use the kitchen with your own food. You would have your own private bathroom with shower, as well. We live about 10 minutes outside Boone, in a beautiful log cabin with a great view of the mountains.
Small room with a couch/floor space (if you have a airbed or something) in a 3 bedroom duplex outside of Boone, NC. Not very close (15 minute drive) to anyplace. Use of room is contingent on mutual agreement between myself and my room-mate. Currently a rabbit and parrot inhabit the house as well, so if you have allergies/phobias, you may want to reconsider. Prefer visitors to be on weekends (problems with theft in the past), but should we all get along, weekdays may be alright.
There is a couch and a futon in our living room for the taking. My roommate is funny and will probably do a ridiculous dance in the kitchen while toasting a sprouted grain English muffin. We live within walking distance to town... which is a nice little place to visit. We like to cook, so we might feed you. I don't know if we will let you in our kitchen though... we tend to be protective of our cast-iron skillets.
I live with 2 roommates in downtown Boone. We are all students at ASU. We have a tiny kitchen that you are welcome to use, bring your own food...but I personally love to cook with people, maybe we could potluck some meals. We have 2 mattresses in our family room, which we use for a couch, but can be separated to make two single beds. Smoking outside only.
Couch in nice apartment in Central Boone. Welcomed to use household items, must buy own food. Located in Middle of city close to all amenities, restaurants. Blue Ridge Parkway 10 mins away to hiking, exploring mountainside. Within 2 hour drive is Amusment Park Carowinds, Whitewater rafting, cavern exploring, mile high bridge, Grandfather Mountain.
Small room with a small bed in a 2 bedroom college style apartment. The apartment is pretty close to campus. It's up a big hill so I wouldn't recommend bringing a car or parking car near apartment if its snowy or icy conditions. Your own bathroom and shower.
Decent sized living room with pull out couch, can sleep 2-3 depending on size. I live in an apartmen .5 mile from downtown Boone NC, 5 miles from the Blue Ridge parkway. City bus can take you anywhere you need go, but it is also easily walkable.
College apartment with a spare couch. 3 other roommates. 10 minute free bus ride into town, otherwise a 5 minute drive into downtown Boone . In the Appalachian mountains. Kitchen available, but buy your own food.
