A good sized room with a double bed, with a glazed door leading onto a basic flat roof, which is nice to sit on in the evening sun. My house is a large 4 bed Victorian end of terrace, with a massive sitting room & massive kitchen with a large breakfast table. There is downstairs shower room, with a toilet and sink & a family bathroom upstairs. At the back of the house there is a small summer room, leading onto a small patio, which is a lovely suntrap in the evening, perfect for barbecues. Parking is on the road. I live only a 20min walk from the edge of Bristol city centre, full of bars, restaurants etc. Just around the corner is a fish & chip shop & Chinese takeaway. 5 mins from my house there is a supermarket, small cinema, library & a choice of pubs, coffee shops etc. My house is in easy access of some lovely walks on the Downs. You have a choice of buses to take you to other parts of Bristol. Plus a local train station which is about 15min walk away, connecting you to mainline services to London etc. You will have full use of my house there is a sitting room, dining room and the kitchen. You will have to provide you own food.
We (Majik and Bryony) Live in Bristol and have a couch and plenty of floor space that you can stay on. We like to meet people that want to interact during their stay (not just use as free accommodation) We are happy to show you places (Bristol has lots of cool Bars/Clubs, galleries, theatre, etc) and Bristol is 12 min away from historical Bath (By train) which is where we both used to live most of our life, and can show you or direct you to all the sights, and best places. You can use our kitchen and food, but please contribute food during your stay. We can provide sleeping stuff usually. Any amount of people can stay if you just want floor space (bear in mind it is a SMALL flat) We may have parties but if you're really tired please let us know so we can give you time to relax and sleep. You can stay from 1 night up to a week, just depends what we are doing. Hope to see you soon!!! B & M xxx
Hello, there are four of us living in a large Victorian house. in the Independent shopping area of Bristol. roughly a ten minute walk to the city center. our garden has plum and apple trees, so in the summer its a beautiful place to be, we often have BBQ's and spend the majority of our time swinging in the hammocks. we don't spend much, cheap bottle of wine and sunshine is all we need. by winter we need to dedicate a lot of our time chopping wood and keeping the open fires going. once again, we don't spend a lot, although indulge in mulling to our hears content. we have communal cooking and the bulk of our food is skipped from veg shops and major supermarkets, so we eat like queens. there's often a spare room, although if not, we always have a sofa bed in one of our rooms, which will fit two or free, depending on how comfortable you are with sharing. big love see you soon xx
I can provide one single bed in a single room and a sofa in the living room. so if you come here alone then you get the bed, if two people come, then we can negotiate about who will sleep in the sofa and who gets the bed:) I live in a student flat with 2 other students. I can provide a single bed in a single room.It is along the Avon river, very good view. And just 3mins walking to a very big nature park and 10mins walking to the city center. There is a shower room and a kitchen, we 3 people share them. I can take you arround the city while I do not have lectures and weekends and cook you Chinese food! and me and my boyfriend are both vegetarians. Smoking is not allowed in my flat.I do not have pets and I do not smoke. I think any time with one week is acceptable. But now exams are coming I am not able to host anybody sorry.
Weston-super-Mare is twenty miles south west of Bristol. Three spare rooms. Various combinations of guests can therefore be accomodated. House is in a quiet residential area of Worle, which is three miles from Weston centre, and 5 minutes drive from Junction 21 of the M5. Worle parkway railway station is 20 minutes walk. Weston super mare train station is a 20 minute bus ride away. Views from back across typical Somerset countryside. Half an hour train , bus or drive from Bristol. Weston itself is a typical English sea-side resort with a huge long beach...great sunsets in Summer...but regarded by many as a bit down market in terms of the actual centre....lots of amusement arcades, nightclubs and trashy stuff!! Great base for exploring the Mendip Hills...lots of good walks.
Couch space available and occasional spare bed in bedroom, also tent space in garden in a nice locality overlooking green fields on the outskirts of the city. This is part of a 3 bed house which is in need of some repair and therefore would appeal to those who enjoy a rustic, bohemian, basic abode.I enjoy travel and art and poetry so creatives welcome. You can buy your own food and use the facilities or pay a small at-cost contribution towards evening meal. My house is a 30 minute bus ride from town which is about 6 miles away. I enjoy a lively social life with many friends which you are welcome to participate in. I often hold parties and go to poetry and music events. This is a great area to explore Wales and the south west of England from.
I live in a two bedroom house with two reception rooms downstairs and a conservatory. There is a comfortable sofa bed in one of the reception rooms which is used to accommodate guests. The house is in the Easton area in Bristol, a multicultural and vibrant area relatively close to the city centre (approximately half an hour walk) with good public transport links. There are many local shops and nice restaurants in the area. Having lived in most areas of Bristol, Easton may not be the prettiest but it's definitely the most vibrant with a strong sense of community. I say that you haven't trully experienced Bristol if you haven't been to Easton!
You will awake to the most amazing panorama of my city, Bristol because I live at the top of a steep hill on the the fourth floor. We can see across the entire city and beyond. If you lie back down all you will be able to see is the sky. A lovely experience in the middle of the city. Me + 1 flat mate. Big couch or double futon mattress. Food is a really important part of my life, I love cooking and grow a lot of my own organic vegetables. You are welcome to eat with me if you help. No pets. Occasional smoking of different substances. Very close to city centre and nice places in and around Bristol. Lots of public transport nearby.
At the heart of Bohemian cosmopolitan Bristol the vibrant arts and music scene is within walking distance. Find the friendliest people at the gateway to the South West for a memorable experience. Its like living in a world service drama where we can take you on an internal journey where the pictures are worth more than a thousand words. A small house on the edge of the city centre. Can offer a couch, a settee and a warm welcome. We love people from all walks of life - just be open minded. We give what we expect to receive. As going exploring Australia and New Zealand will not be home until end of March 2006.
Myself and my wife are outgoing people, we have travelled many times abroad and have just come back from a years travel, so we know that having a decent place to stay is always appreciated!! Our flat is in a really good location in Bristol, nr the city, nr the downs, and very close to the suspension bridge that is a tourist spot. We do not have a spare room, however i flat is quite spacious and we have a campbed that can be put up in the living room which is very comfortable. We are always very welcoming, and friendly people. We ae also Welsh, so we can advise you on the best country to visit in the UK!!!!
