Small room with a comfortable, new futon, a desk and chair, closet and chest of drawers. It is a medium sized, 3 bedroom house in West/Central Burnaby. 5 minute drive to Vancouver, 15 minute drive to downtown/ 30 minutes by bus and skytrain. 20 minutes by bus to giant mall (metrotown metropolis). I live in a quiet suburb sort-of area but it's not too far from beaches, downtown, and parks. Very safe and clean area. You can eat the food that my parents cook (we're Russian) but it would be great if you could buy some stuff too. But ya we're really laid back about that; my mom is an AMAZING cook :D We also have a washer and a dryer that you can use and we are a 2 minute walk from the bus-stop. Our place is great for exploring Vancouver and the rest of the lowermainland. Snowboarding is only 25 minutes away by car (1 hour by bus), and the beach is about an hour away by bus as well.
I live in a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor of a house in Burnaby, BC -a suburb of Vancouver. I am planning to eventually get a room mate, but for the next few months I have the suite to myself. Right as of this moment, the bed is a double futon that is just on the floor. I am in the process of shopping for a frame. Another option is an air bed that I can blow up for the spare room. The suite is very small, but comfortable, & the house has both a front and back yard (lawns). I moved into this suite only 2 weeks ago and so am still unpacking some boxes and still shopping for a few more pieces of furniture. This house is only a few minutes away by bus to 2 huge shopping malls, many restaurants, shops and is also only a few minutes away by bus to the Skytrain (tram) which will take you into downtown Vancouver in about 15- 20 minutes.
I am a happy, kind, caring, trustworthy, thoughtful/respectful outgoing, open minded, independent, tidy, active, enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, easy-going widowed lady. A people person of integrity who loves to meet interesting people of same values who have their hearts in the right place also. I live near Vancouver's Metrotown, which is 20 minutes from down town Vancouver. It can be reached by sky train for those without a car; station is close to my place. Can host one person, a non smoker, no drugs, only. Happy to show you around if time permits.
Small spare room with a pull-out couch/bed in my 2 bedroom apartment in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver. Walking distance to pubs, shopping, restaurants. 5-minute walk to rapid transit (skytrain) which is a 20-minute ride to downtown Vancouver. Kitchen facilities available, food purchase is your responsibility. Laundry is also included, and the bathroom is shared. Internet access available should you wish.
Once I get back to Canada I'll have a spare room with a single bed to offer. I live in Burnaby, right outside of Vancouver, it's a quick bus to get to downtown Vancouver but I'd be happy to point you to more interesting spots! It's also easy to get up the mountains from my place if you're into skiing, there're great beaches around, culture coming out your ears - you should come visit.
medium size room with a foamy and blankets. I am renting a two room apartment and it is attached to the landlord's house. I will be moving in Jan/05 and I will update the accommodations later. For now I live in Burnaby close to the Brentwood mall skytrain. You would be welcomed to use the kitchen, but supply your own food. Unless I'm having a good month then I will feed you.
I live in a typical urban North American house so hosting someone is not a problem as long as my parents approve. Basic rules apply like no smoking, no pets, no drinking, no inappropriate conduct, etc on or near the property. Close to Skytrain (10 min by bike) and 7-11, and shopping. Close to bike trails and Deer Lake. I can offer tours around the city if you like too.
Small shared one bedroom apartment with a fold-out couch and bedding for two. We're not right in Vancouver, but Metrotown, South Burnaby. Close to shopping, restaurants, bars and just a 10-15 mins skystrain ride to downtown. Feel free to use the kitchen and some of the basics but anything else you gotta buy yourself. Sorry, but we're not rich!
---I'll be our of Vancouver until September--- I have a fairly comfortable couch that you may use, or bring your own sleeping bag and enjoy the vast floor space :) I live in a residential part of Burnaby, so it takes about 40 minutes to get to downtown Vancouver by public transport. Contact me at least two weeks in advance.
We occasionally have a spare room but we always have a spare pull-out double bed in our living room. We are very close to everything including skytrain to downtown Vancouver. We are at the exact center of greater Vancouver. We have 2 dogs so you must like dogs to come. No smoking or drugs are allowed in our home.
