We live in Dicky Beach, QLD, that's about 2km from the Caloundra and 45 minutes by car from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. The Sunshine Coast is about 1.5hrs north of Brisbane. It is me, my patner Dan a dog and a cat. We are all inside outside creatures, the dog and cat are friendly. Theyre meant to be hypoallogenic but who knows really? If youre allergic to cats, keep that in mind. We live in a very old beach shack about 400 meters from moffat beach. We have electricity, internet and running water but no internal heating or aircondition. We have a spare bedroom (with a bed) or a backyard to camp in. Caloundra is not a party town, its best for people who want to lay around on the beach all day or surf. We get up early for work, so only people who are in bed by 9 or who are quiet (no tv, no noise) should stay with us during the week.
We sometimes have a spare bed in one of our many bedrooms but always have spare matresses and plenty of floor space. We are wwoof hosts so often have visitors from all over the globe working in our very large garden. we run businesses so don't have lots of free time but we are very freindly. maleny is a small town with beautiful scenery and an interesting place to hang out for a while. The wheather is usually fantastic, clear blue sky all winter, sometimes heavy rain in the summer. There's not much public transport around here, just a few busses to and from the train station during the week only. We are 3ks out of town.
We have a 6 bedroom house, 3 bathrooms 2 lounge rooms, 2 kitchens, in rural setting on 3 acres of land overlooking a dam. We are 20 mins drive to the Coast, half km walk to local shops, train, and other public transport, restaurants, Post Office, medical centre, petrol station, etc. Within 20-30 mins of numerous attractions including Aussieworld and Australia Zoo. We are happy to offer hospitality, information on local attractions, we would only ask that you buy your own food and wine or contribute towards any homecooked meals you enjoy with us.
Comfy couch or space for a mattress in my 3 bedroom home in Caloundra. We are a 5 minute drive from the beach, shops, restaurants and public transport. You may use the kitchen but must buy your own food. I live one hour north of Brisbane, right by the beach and a 20 minute drive to the Glasshouse Mountains.
Nothing available at this time but we intend on making a room available with a double or two single, or a double and a put me up for a little one once we are settled and established.
