Spare room while my son is studying. Household has male teenagers, a cat, a small snake and a chipmunk, and can be somewhat chaotic at times. We live a few miles away from Macroom town, in a small gaeltacht village halfway between Cork City and Killarney - you would need a car, as there is no public transport. We're relaxed and easygoing, yet would still ask you to respect our property and private space. This is a smoking household, although no smoking in bedrooms. Absolutely no drugs (otherthan tobacco) in the house, and limits on alcohol You are free to use the kitchen or whatever else, as long as you tidy up after yourself and provide your own food. The bedroom has a small bathroom (shower and toilet) en suite. Any questions feel free to email
I live in a tiny apartment with my polish flatmate. Its small but really comfie. Amenities available in our house are a washing machine which can be used instead of going to a launderette, Shower, cooker, your own fridge space, computer with internet. We can share meals or you can cook your own. It doesnt sound very exciting, i know, but when your travelling, its nice to stay somewherewith basic amenities!!!! I live in the city centre also so there is no need to get busses. My apartment is about 13 mins walk from the bus station, 20mins walk from train station, about 4 mins walk from city centre.
Medium sized room with a double bed. Has a wardrobe and locker. House is situated in the country side in the Beara Peninsula. 5 minutes walk from the nearest shop and bar. The nearest town is 9 miles away but their is always buses and locals passing by that are willing to give people lifts into town. I too have a car which we could give lifts into town with also. Three people live in the house including myself and we are quiet and mind our own business meaning you could just make yourself at home. Willing to show people the local sights and help out with directions, travel plans etc.
On suite room and double bed, great cliff view and 50 acre gardens. Located in small town called Carrigaline, 30 mins bus from Cork City, 15 mins from Cork airport, Great experience of rural Irish town and culture, 30 mins from Irish coast and oldest yought club in the world, relaxing enviroment will have to supply own food, although dinner may be provided, weather is wet about 364 days a year so bring a coat! :)
I'm traveling until September 2015 but free to host once I'm settled back in Ireland. Couch will be available with a blanket and pillow. Free to use the kitchen but I would ask that you purchase your own food. Plenty of supermarkets nearby. Cork is a great city, second largest city in Ireland, situated in the south of Ireland, so we have a great social scene as well as beautiful beaches nearby.
You'd be sleeping in our kitchen, which has a couch in front of the television. We live right across the street from a grocery story, and it's a ten minute bus ride into the fantastic city that boasts an excellent night life, and has tons to do. You can use our kitchen, you just have to buy your own food and promise not to burn our building down. We'll have a pillow and duvet for you as well.
This would be a mattress for one or 2 people in a living-room. City center is 40 minutes walk from my place. You can get there by foot or alternatively you can get a cab or a bus. There is a big shopping center located nearby ( 5 minuts walk from my place ) with the supermarket which is open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
There is a bus stop in front of the house which brings you into town in 15 minutes... walking takes about 45 minutes.... last bus from town is at 23.15h - taxis are about 15Euro. I have a spare room with a double mattress (= I can host when I'm around - I travel a lot - so just write to me and we'll see....
We have a garden behind the house where you are welcome to set up your tent! I live in the suburbs of Cork, its about a ten minute walk to the university where i study and about half an hours walk to Cork city centre. Cork is a lovely city! You are welcome to use our kitchen, but you will have to buy your own food.
A very small room with comfortable single bed close to city centre. Bus is just 100m from the house and it's there every 15 min. Place is great to start exploring South Ireland. In Cork you can experience the real irish life, with authentic old pubs and irish music every day. Very friendly people and easy life.
