I do NOT live in Frankfurt itself but in Darmstadt which is 30km south of Frankfurt (by train 20 min from main station to main station). Frankfurt Airport is only 20km away. I can offer a couch (suitable for 2 persons) to sleep and some food at my place. I'm pretty liberal...and much at ease with things but feel free to find out yourself. I dislike liars and people without guts... 2007-2008 I've been backpacking around Australia, so if ur able to communicate in English we can even have a chat... ;-) During the weekend I can't promise accommodation but maybe ur lucky *g* so feel free to email / call me! Hello. My name is Daniel, I am 29 years old and I am studying Psychology in Darmstadt. I will finish my studies this year, so that I am quite busy at the moment, but I anyhow hope to meet a few travellers soon :-) I did a great journey trough Australia in winter 2004/05 (5 months) and I miss to meet people from all over the world. At the moment I am living in a students home and my room is very small, so that I am not able to offer accommodation until end of this year. We can offer you a douple bed (sofa) in an extra room in our 3 bedroom townhouse, which is located in a very popular area in Darmstadt. Public transport is just around the corner, also shopping and nightlife acitivities are not far away. The Frankfurt airport can be reached by bus in app. 30 min. Feel free to use our kitchen, TV and phone (has to be paid for). As we are cooking at night you are invited of course, otherwise you have to take care of your own food while you staying with us. I am sure you will enjoy your small vacation and we will assist you with your travelling plans.
Shared flat with four students (i.e. four bedrooms), kitchen, living room, two tiny bathrooms. In my room you could put down an air mattress or I get you a real one. The apartment in the very city center, close to the university. From the train station, take buses H or F to Alexanderstraße/TU. Darmstadt is reasonably close to Frankfurt Main International Airport. There is also a bed available at my mom's in Eschborn (17min by regional train, north of Frankfurt). Good place to explore Frankfurt. In that case I would stay at my mom's, too.
Guest room in the roof of our house in the city of Darmstadt with double bed (120cm) and own small bathroom. It is 10 minutes walking to the center. Since the town is quite big you will find everything there - shops, restaurants, travel offices, lots of banks etc. It's a 15 min tram ride from the main trainstation and about 50 minutes to Frankfurt airport by public transport. Our place is perfect to explore the Rhein-Main-area (i.e. Heidelberg 1h, Frankfurt 45min., Mainz 40min.)
1-bedroom apt with a living room and kitchen. there is a pretty comfy couch in the living room and space for tent, i think. there is also a small store room if you are not claustrophobic..the apt is abt 10 min walk to both main train station and town center. there are some nice restaurants and pubs in buildings next to us. pretty clean, quiet and peaceful environment. kitchen is small but usable. and you are welcomed to use the fridge & washer, etc.
One bed for one or two persons (if you are close). You'll have your own room. We live near of airport FRA (Frankfurt/Main) in the city of Darmstadt on the 5th floor. Two minutes to Tram, within five minutes you're in the centre of Darmstadt. Darmstadt is a nice city ( pls. check out : www.darmstadt.de ), with a lot of shops, pubs, restaurants, sights and other attractions. For more infos feel free to contact us :) ps. for non-smokers!
I offer a small bedroom in our apartment in an oldtown house near the city-centre. It takes 10 minutes to walk there and there is a busstation nearby, too. Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. Obviously we have tv and washing-machine which you may use. The kitchen and the balkony are smoking-areas! If you like to come you should love cats, because two of them live here, too!
I share the flat with two other girls and have my own room there... I can put a nother matress in my room, so there is not a lot space, but it is still nice... Its maybe ten min to the citycentre by bus, two min to the bus, three to the tram... Darmstadt is a studenttown, with some nice places to see and go out... Supermarket is in the city centreas well as the museum, theatre and information centre...
I´m living in a shared apartment, so I don´t have a couch or bed to offer, but you could sleep on my camping mat on my very comfortable carpet! The apartment is quite central in Darmstadt, you can walk into Darmstadt city in a few minutes. You can use the kitchen of course if you are here, it would be nice if you refill the used food before you go.
