Meet people prepared to show you the best of Den Haag!
Currently I am moving out, to get a new room in september for the new semester. So i cannot give you anything until september. Then, I will live in a small room again. Here in the Hague/ den Haag its hard to find affordable accomodation, and if you want to check out the city, i will live in Moerwijk, which is in the south, but very well connected to the centre by tram, train and bus. There are shops, grocery stores and snack bars and restaurants evrywhere in the hague, but I usually cook, so if you want to cook or eat with me or so thats fine and we can split the costs. I am not sure about the bed, but I think I pretty much have 2 king size matrasses. One in my own possession and one already there.
... in a boat! (bit of a weird one this). I have a boat that's permanently moored right in the centre of Den Haag (The Hague), in the Netherlands circa. 5 minutes walk from the Town Hall. Hotel bills in Den Haag are currently around 100 euro per night so free accommodation on the boat for someone planning to spend a significant amount of time there is good. The catch is that the boat is currently flooded so it would only appeal to someone who's the active boating DIY-type who can help me maintain it in return for being allowed to stay on the boat for free. It would make a perfect free European base for a few months for the right boating DIY-type traveller / student with a bit of work.
I live in Scheveningen in an old house, that is built in 1900. My house is opposite the Museum Scheveningen and close to the beach and boulevard. The house is split in two appartments: the ground floor is owned by my neigbour, the two upper floors are mine. I am divorced and have a daughter, who lives part-time with me. I am bisexual and have a boyfriend, who lives elsewhere in The Hague. Scheveningen is the beach resort of The Hague (Den Haag)with lots of clubs, a fish harbour with restaurants, the promenade and the dunes (nice for cycling). Nearby museums are the Sculpture Museum 'Beelden aan Zee' and the Gemeentemuseum (modern art). The city centre of The Hague is about 4 km from my home.
A room with two single beds, 13 square meters, furnished. Appartment on the 4th floor of a building dated 2003, in the heart of the city of The Hague in the Nederlands. In the vacinity of the Parliament, the Peace Palace, Mauritshuis museum, the theathers, and public transportation. It is no more than a 10 minute walk to the Central Station. Will be a good base to explore Amsterdam to the North and Rotterdam to the South. Can use kitchen to prepare your own meals and your own products. We are happy to tell you about the city but when we are busy with work and school you will find your way arround. We are willing o receive guests for the period of one week.
Small, modest apartment in the old centre of The Hague. Can make use of the sofa bed in the living room. One very small bathroom with shower that needs to be shared. In the city centre, with shopping almost at the doorstep (two blocks away). The apartment is located around the corner from Het Paard van Troje (perfect for concert go-ers). Fine dining and pubs within walking distance. The Hague is the government seat of the country and a beautiful city to visit. I am willing to give sightseeing suggestions or be a tour guide. Public transport one block away to Central Station and other connections.
With a warm heart, I offer a mattress in my living room in a corner apartment of an old building by a canal & a park- an original Dutch architecture with tall european windows. Its a 8-10 minute tram ride from Den Haag Central Station (Den Haag CS is 28 minutes train ride from Amsterdam). I work near Amsterdam and would be glad to offer a ride while doing to work. I think my place is nice & homely top unwind and get some quiet sleep after a long day of exploring the wild wild Amsterdam & the political capital- Den Haag.
Spare bed in the livingroom (as I have only one bedroom and one livingroom) in 40sqm apartment. My apartments is 10 minutes tramride away from citycenter (tram in front of the door!) in a quiet quite green neighbourhood. The beach is about 10 minutes by bus away. (Myself, i walk these distances usually, which takes about 25 minutes). The apartment has 2 balconies, and a kitchen you can use if you bought own food (supermarket is 3 minutes walking).
Good sized two bedroom apartment. Shared between Aussie chef and Canadian day jobber (me). Lots of space in the place to stash a few traveller. We have spare matresses/beds, plus sofas, floor space and a garden. We are very relaxed about things like food, telephone, internet, smoking, etc. Everything should be easily worked out with a wink and a smile. If you're not high maintenance, then chances are we'll get along fine.
we are living now in the Hague. a beautiful city. our appartment is 5mins walk to the sea. since we have only one big room it not very handy at the moment to host guests. but if you are someone we know already or a friendly quiet girl we will try our best to take your request.we are moving in Feb 2009 to Rotterdam, by then we will have maybe a separate room for our guests. just mention we have two ginypigs at home.
Small house with two couches and an extra bed for you to crash on ;) I live in the centre of Den Haag (The Hague), so its very nice to explore the city from here. I will be happy to tell you something about the city or show you around. I live in between the big trainstations(Den Haag CS and Den Haag HS)that have a direct connection to Amsterdam. You can use my kitchen/bathroom/washingmachine.
