at the moment i live in a two-room flat plus kitchen and bathroom. Double-bed in one room, couch in the other. Freudenstadt is situated in the BLACK FOREST, in the south-west of Germany. To Strasbourg, France it's just a one-hour drive by car. Karlsruhe (1.5 hrs), Stuttgart (1hr), Freiburg (1.5hrs) are great cities that are quite easy to reach from here. Freudenstadt itself is pretty but pretty boring, too - except of beautiful surroundings. Loads of woods as you might tell. You can use the kitchen and cook your own meals. Outside in the garden there's space for a tent as well. I have my home-base in Darmstadt near Frankfurt where i have friends who might be happy to accomodate you as well.
Accom. is a comfortable mattress in our home, which is in the center of the city. It's just a small city, but a good place to stop for a couple of nights and go on outings in the Black Forest.
Hi there! We offer a Spare Room with Double Bed in a former Forester House in the Northern Black Forest. If needed one mattress is still available. The use of our Kitchen is no problem, coffee, tea and water is provided, food has to be bought by yourself. It's about a 5-10 min. walk to the small city-centre of Freudenstadt, also the train station is not too far (15 min. walk). If you want to experience the Black Forest itself, no problem. In about 5 minutes right away from our house you can get to the forest with endless hiking pathes. If you are more into city-sightseeing there are several opportunities: there is a possibility to visit Stuttgart by train, it takes 1 and a half hour with train, price about 25-30 EUR (ticket for whole day for up to 5 persons), also Karlsruhe one and a half hours, price 18 EUR (whole day, up to four or five persons), Strassburg (France) is about 50 kilometres from here, Freiburg (famous university town, very lovely) about 90 kilometres. For detail informations we'll try to figure out on specific requests, otherwise there is a pretty good tourist information in town.
medium-sized 2 bedroom apartment with balcony. 10 minutes walk to the centre. 15 minutes walk to the forrests.
