Large modern spare room, 3.6 x 7m, external to 3bedroom house, 7 mins drive from central Geelong. Geelong is the second largest city in the state of Victoria, Australia and is the largest regional centre in the state. It is a port city with an urban population of 160,991 people,[1] [2] and one of the largest provincial cities in Australia. Geelong is located on Corio Bay, 75 kilometres south-west of the state's capital, Melbourne. Geelong is a great gateway to the The Great Ocean Road (known as the Surfcoast Highway between Geelong and Torquay) which stretches along the South Eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool is one of Australia's great scenic coastline drives.
Share fully furnished house, spare room or couch or matress on floor - whatever available at the time - can always find room somewhere. Close to buses, trains, main highway and walking distance to city and bayside beaches. Half an hour to Torquay and other surf beaches a bit further with public transport to all from the city Rail station. No smoking, drugs or alcohol permitted on the property - use of kitchen and facilities but must provide own foodf - as other people share utilities a small daily proportional share of these costs is requested - amount depends on how many people in house at the time - eg. if 3 people amount would be $2.50 per day - more people it goes down.
The house is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom located in a quiet neighbourhood. We often have students live with us but at the very least we have a comfy mattress in a nice house with all the facilities you'd need. So feel free to use the kitchen but you will have to buy your own food (which is also close by). We are about 10 minutes from Geelong and there are buses and trains close by. Melbourne is about an hour train ride away. We are also a half hour away from The Great Ocean Road where there are a lot of beaches and a must see if you come to this corner of the world.
Small room with a comfortable single bed in a 3 bedroom house in the suburb of Highton. We are a about 2-3 km from nearest shops on a hilly section of geelong where buses run to and from 2 times a day. We are close to a golf curse and next to a river. Bus ride is about 40 min from city centre. Feel free to use the kitchen but you will have to buy your own food. Without a car, you will be a bit far from every thing in geelong. If you like the fresh air and greens you will be in a good place.
Spare bedroom with a queen bed and walk in robes in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Located on northern side of Geelong, close to public transport and shops. Feel free to use the kitchen, but expected to buy your own food and drinks, unless otherwise arranged. It's a great place to explore Great Ocean Rd, Geelong and all the surrounding area. Melbourne is 1h by train ride, most days can hitch a ride with me in a car.
I am traveling in France until September 2008, so space is currently unavailable. Many apologies. Bunk beds available, but a little far from the city centre - 10km. Buses run every hour either to the city or in the opposite direction to scenic Queenscliffe or great surf beaches of Ocean Grove. May stay up to one week and are free to use the kitchen, but please buy own food. Supermarket a short walk away.
Geelong is a large regional town about an hours drive or train from Melbourne. Small room with built in cupboards. At the moment has a single bed but hoping to get a double bed in there soon. House is just a small to average 3 bedroom house. Internet, pay TV available. Short bus trip into city centre of Geelong. 15 to 30 min drive to ocean beaches. 10 min walk to supermarkets, banks, bakeries, chemists etc.
Medium sized room with double bed in a modern single story home in the small Town of Lara 14Km from the city of Geelong and 60km from Melbourne Good train service to both. We have a 18 yr old son still at home I love to cook. You can have the run of the place. We will be happy to point out the things to do and see.
Spare mattress and couch available. Located right in the city centre, close to train station and across the road from bus stops. Nightclubs are walking distance, kitchen available for use. Car Park space also available. Perfect base to explore Melbourne, The Great Ocean Road, and the beautiful coastlines.
Room with queen bed in 2 bedroom house in the centre of Geelong. 1 minute walk to closest pub, 5 minute walk into the "CBD" of Geelong. Good spot to start a tour of the great ocean road (Torquay, Lorne etc) and only 1 hour from the centre of Melbourne by public transport.
