Staying at home with my parent and one brother. We have an air-conditioned room that can take up to two guests on two separate mattresses comfortably. No smoking please, sorry. I live really close to the real deal in my town. All the eating, shopping, drinking places are just a stone's throw away, around 5 minutes maximum by taxi, or the closest would be 5 minutes by walking. Or I can drive you to the malls, if you want. There are some historical/ cultural places to visit here, like Chinese temples, Indian temples, the Sultan's gardens, the coast, and a new waterfront (cheap) local food arena. Many more if you ask. The local airport is served by budget carrier airasia.com. You can check connections from the capital Kuala Lumpur to Senai, Johor Baru airport. A shuttle bus would bring you to the town centre. Alternatively, you can purchase long-distance bus tickets or try the local railway ride, the former is economical and efficient, the latter les efficient but more charming as it passes by the countryside. Johor bahru is great for seafood, and also for connecting to Singapore by bus/train. It would take you 1 hour on a normal day, to get past all customs/ immigrations checks on both sides of the causeway.
