I live in the center of Karachi...which is close to the beach, the restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, beach,etc.. the list goes on and on... this by far is the safest part in the city and does not get affected by any happenings anywhere... I live with my parents and 2 sisters... i have a room i could share i.e could add in another bed there on the floor with no air con.. although if the stay is short i could fix a small bed or two in the drawing room which does have aircon.. I have a cat.. so yaa but the cat is not allowed in the drawing room... i do smoke and wont mind any one else smoking as long as they do it in my room. Public transport from Taxi to bus to Rikhsha.. is just down the lift.. so not a problem.. plus i have my car which i am willing to lend out... or if time permits take you around ... As mentioned above.. the the eat outs, shopping places, cafe's, music bars, concerts, jams, movies take place maximum 5km distance from my house.. the main beaches are about 20km away but straight road... I can show people around.. i love showing people around.. always have always will... I can arrange for blankets.. not a problem at all.... Best time to host would preferably be weekends but weekdays are fine too.. i am a filmmaker/photographer/online producer so weekends and weekdays don't count for me as i am self employed.. atleast for the moment... well i keep changing my timings for sleep but generally even my mom is up till 2am watching dramas. but yet again at times i am up for at sunrise. a week is too many.. but depends how i get along... also if our interest match.. nothing like it... additionally my mom makes these amazing dishes.. you would def go fat.. but again we shop she cooks :)
Guests have to write their requirement along with their background and what they would like to do in Karachi. I can guide people who would like to visit the country over email I speak English and would like to explore the world. My interets are cultures, ancient history, photography, gardening, travelling and have been to many countries. If available, then prefer to accomodate only one person for a max of 1 -2 days. Guests have to let me know in advance and prefeabaly that they reconfirm at least 10 - 14 days prior their arrival.
At the moment not available because I live in an apartment with my parents and my little sister, and without me around (I plan to travel abroad soon on a long term commitment), they would be unwilling to accept a stranger to live at our place because the situation in my country is quite volatile right now and (unfortunately) the general attitude that abounds these days is to regard just about everyone with suspicion. The option of using my room or spare bed would however be open once I return and get a separate apartment for myself.
The room is big enough for 4 people but its got two queen size single beds with its own toilet/shower. I live close to the city centre with my parents. The place is walking distance to the shopping malls.Feel free to use kitchen although you would have a great time not using it since my mom is a great cook but if u so insist then we dont mind!! I have my own car so I can show you around the city at nights coz right now i am working from morning till evening.
I have a guest room in my house which is very comfortable. It is removed from the main house so one can enjoy privacy. The only downfall is I live with my parents so there can be some curfews involved but in pakistan that means 3 am! LOL I'm in the Defence area which is very safe and a hop away from major shopping areas, hip eateries and the beach. Unfortunately you wont have a private cooking area so you may have to rely on our maid.
Small room with a comfortable single bed in my medium sized 3 bedroom house in the city of Karachi. We are very close to everything - shops, restaurants and public transport (it's a 7 minute bus ride into the city-centre). Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. No smoke or drink, would appreciate the same from u.But if you smoke, you do it outside...and definitely no drugs!.
Well i am looking for a medium sized room. I don't know how to cook and will be staying here in Colombo for 2 years i guess. Got my visa extented for an year... Will be nice if i can have daily muslim meals too. Will prefer someone who wants to have a nice friendship with me regardless of age, sex, or Religion. I have been in UK so one might get an idea that what sort of person i would be.
Small room with a comfortable double bed, TV, Fridge and Attached Bath in my medium sized 3 bedroom flat in the posh area of Defense Housing Authority. We are very close to everything - sea, shops, pubs, clubs, restaurants and public transport (it's a 15 minute car ride into the city-centre). Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, food items are already here.
my medium sized 3 bedroom townhouse in the suburb of Richmond. We are very close to everything - shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport (it's a 7 minute tram or train ride into the city-centre). Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. Our place would be a great base to explore both Melbourne and Victoria.
