Guest room in a three-bedroom house in suburban Lansing... not exactly known for great public transportation, but a good place from which to explore what Michigan has to offer, and there are shops within a few minutes' walking distance. I move around quite a bit, but currently I split my time between Lansing, where I watch my Mom's place when she's away, and Germany, where I share a three-bedroom place with a friend in Villingen, a charming medieval town of around 45,000 in the Black Forest that serves as my homebase in Europ, and people are welcome to stay with me/us in the guest room in either of those places when I'm there. If it fits in with everyone's plans, I'm always happy to cook/have dinner with my guests, and you're welcome to make yourself breakfast or a sandwich when I'm (or we're) not around, but we'd appreciate it if you contributed food as well and checked with us before any embarking on any major cooking sessions on your own. I hope it goes without saying that I'd expect you to clean up after yourself and be considerate - and smoking is only allowed in the living room (within limits).
Small room with a single bed in large home in Lansing Michigan. Close to bus stop (2 blocks). A few restaurants and bars nearby. 2 miles to Michigan State University, 1 mile to downtown (about 10 minute busride either way.) Lots of good restaurants in both directions. Kitchen use is fine, but please clean up when you are done and provide your own food. Laundry within walking distance.
couch plus hide-a-bed sofa and lots of floor space in spacious living area of my 3 bedroom loft. right near downtown, capitol district, right on the river and busline ... no pets, smoking outside only, we're happy to visit and eat with you if our schedule allows it. You're welcome to use the kitchen with your own food (and understanding you'll clean up ;-))
Confortable bedroom in an old but renovated house. Just blocks away from downtown Lansing and 15 minutes drive to East Lansing, where Michigan State University is located. Close to everything, shops, restaurantes, museums, library and some public transportation. You can use the kitchen but buy your own food.
I have both a spare bedroom(large empty floorspace) and a living room couch in my 2 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen to offer. 1 block from local bus lines, 10 minute walk to the downtown bus station. Not far from MSU, East Lansing Amtrak station, or Capital City airport.
This is an older house that happens to have smaller rooms with low ceiling but its quite cozy and would always have moderate room temperature. Lansing is the capital of lansing and has the most amazing bike trail and park. The lakes are beautiful in the spring, summer and fall.
I have a couch and a small couch in my living room, and I live a 5 min walk from the main bus line through the city (bus 1). I live about 15 minutes by bus outside of East Lansing, where Michigan State University is. You can use the kitchen/shower/blankets.
My house is your house. We have 2 spare bedrooms. Lansing is the capitol of Michigan. We are closet o the airport and the bus route. Shopping is within bus routes. Close to Michigan State University, Cooley Law School, and the Detroit College of Law.
We have some mattresses in the basement. We're right on the main busline that goes between Lansing and East Lansing. A pretty safe working-class neighborhood. Lots of families and students. Near some cool businesses on michigan avenue.
spare room with double bed or two single beds, in my nice home in East Lansing, 10 minutes from Michigan State University, located in a park like setting in a nice residential neighborhood, very quiet
