|Double futon bed in a small bedroom within a medium 4 bedroom house in Launceston. The 'Mowbray Strip' of shops is less than 5 minutes walk away which is packed with all the right takeaway shops as well as Woolworths, Coles, a Post Office and the essential pub. The kitchen is yours to use while you're here, if you wish to purchase your own food, otherwise we are happy to cook for you proivided you chuck in for food. The city centre is a 5 minute drive away, there are many bus stops around the house and a taxi fare one way to town is around $10-15. The Launceston airport is around 20min away and if you drive over from mainland Australia via the 'Spirit of Tasmania' ferry service we are only an hour drive from Devonport.
Our place would be fantastic for any traveller wanting to head to Tassie as Launceston is in the centre of the state and all trips to anywhere here are less than 4 hours away.|

Our home is a small cottage on 3 acres, small but very homely.|
|We actually live a 45 min plane trip from Launceston on Flinders SIland. it is a little remote community which has spectacular beaches.
We have a spare room with two single beds and bedding.
It is a 20 minute walk to town but because it is such a small community you are very likely to be picked up along the road and driven to town.|

| Large bedroom with double bed and single bed in our 4 bedroomed home. We are 2.5k from the township of Exeter which is 26k from Launceston, the 2nd largest city in Tasmania.
Exeter is quite central for day trips around Northern Tasmania. Unfortunately, unless you wish to hitch hike, a car is pretty essential here. |
