Oh to have a castle... Hmm, I offer a large and comfortable foldout couch that makes a hell of a cosy bed. (Trust me, the many times I've fell asleep in the ruddy thing when I was supposed to be studying is rather indicative of the sort of couch it is.) We're close to everything in Limerick, possibly about 2km max if probably less, either way you're pretty much near all the action. Shopping centre near by, college/sports facilities, Shannon airport, linked to all places within the Limerick city area by bus. Mi casa es su casa. While you're here, expect to be treated as one of the family... You're pretty much as close to the action as you can be, as we're pretty much just outside the main city centre as it were, and it's about 15 minutes walk to the bus station, so there's plenty of chances for some day-tripping if you're so inclined.
Couch in our sitting room - blankets, pillows and all that provided and the room has a gas fire so its nice& warm! The downstairs bathroom is right beside the sittingroom too. The house itself is meant to be a three bedroom house but the landlord has kindly stuffed five of us into it. Its in Castletroy, on the outskirts of Limerick, and is close to pretty much everything you need - the bus to city centre, pub, restaurants, nightclub, university, shopping centre are all 2-10 mins walking distance away. Taxi into Limerick city would cost bout 6 - 9 euros depending on the taxi driver, and the bus takes about 15 - 20 mins. THe kitchen is small but does the job, and you'd need to get your own food.
Summer accomodation in a nice student house. There is a double bed, new memory foam matress to enjoy. A shared bathroom and kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and relax with us. We have a small garden where we enjoy the sun and do as many bbqs as we can manage every year. We are right next to the local university with many travel links, shops and services within a short walk. There is a gym and fields to use as you wish for exercise or games. We encourage you to cook with us so we can share chats and the different foods we like!
Well, anytime anyone's in the vicinity of Limerick, I have a spare couch in our backroom, it's cosy as heck (believe me, I've regularily used it, especially if I was too lazy to go up to my own bed, or in the case of visitors, ahaha) and it's warm as well, warm as one could ask for. Feel free to make yourself at home when you're here with me. Mi casa es su casa pretty much. We're about 2km from the centre of Limerick and everything is a very short walk (shopping centres/centre of town).
To be honest, i've got a spare bed in my room with an ensuite shower room, there'll be room to put your gear. i live 5 minutes away from the center of limerick so i'm on the outskirts. Thomannd Park (Munster Rugby's home stadium) is around the corner and the nightlife is decent :) there never any food in the fridge but theres a shop near and a chinese take away at the entrance of our estate :) its student accom so theres always something going on:)
Small room with a comfortable single bed in my medium sized 4 bedroom semi-detached in the suburb of Caherdavin. We are very close to everything - shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport (only 2 miles from the city-centre). Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. My place would be a great base to explore the whole of Ireland as transport is easily accessible.
Spare room, with sofa bed or mattress, if you help me move some stuff around. Your own bathroom, as I have an ensuite. 2nd floor flat, large open-plan living room. Could accommodate two people, maybe more if you're used to being in close proximity. Washer/dryer available to un-stink your pack. Centrally located. Best pizza in Limerick next door, or use the kitchen.
Small one bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen come living room area, with a stove and a little garden, plus 4 pet tabby cats. Who wander in and out of the apartment through a window. The couch converts into a spare bed. It is a 7 min walk to the centre of the city, a 2 min walk to the Peoples Park green area, and 5mins walk to the river way.
Student house. spare room upstairs with bed and spare sleeping blanket for anyone that wants. we are close to the University of Limerick. Shops, pubs, nite clubs all within 10 minute walk. House is only about 2 miles from Limerick city centre - accessible by city bus that goes every 20 minutes
In a 6 bedroom appartment on campus with other irish students in their early 20s in a suburb of Limerick. Downstairs is a laudrette, a shop and a health food cafe. 5 min walk to a bus stop that goes straight into the city centre. two minute walk to two pubs.
