Usually a small studio short term lease flat. I am quite semi transient these days though I am well known and well connected in Liverpool. A close friend and associate of mine owns a privately operated independent backpackers hostel, and I rent a small studio flat nearby. I always have my base near to the City Centre and close to the University and all related attractions and amenities. Shortly I am also hoping to seek and find a converted campervan, which won't be the first time so I will also be able to offer some space in that for the short term person seeking shelter and a mattress. Anyone staying with me in my flat would be welcome to prepare their own food in the kitchen, make use of a shower and bathroom and my internet connection.I also have a good arrangement with the nearby hostel for laundry. You would never be short of good travelling company around me and my friends !
You would be staying in our living room on one of our very comfortable couches!! We also have a blow up, double air bed that could be used if preferred. Our flat is small but perfectly formed with a lovely big garden which you are free to use. We live 10mins away from the city centre with very regular bus service just outside our flat! Around the corner is Lark Lane, a cool, trendy lane with many pubs, restaurants, shops and boutiques. Sefton Park is also only a five minute walk away. You would be free to use our kitchen and anything else you would need and we would be more than happy to take you on a guided tour of Liverpool and to all the best bars and clubs! Our place (mine and my boyfriends) is a 15minute bus ride from John Lennon Airport and a 45minute coach journey to Manchester city centre.
There are chances for a room with single bed if house mate are away. Otherwise, a spare sofa in the living room with a table to for reading or using the a laptop. There might be limited privacy as there might be house mates passing by the living to access the kitchen. Can accommodate up to 2 people, up to 3 nights and bringing along a sleeping bag is advisable. 5 minutes walk to restaurants, pubs, shops, post office and bus stops (10 minutes bus ride to city center). 15-20 minutes walk to city center. Feel free to use the kitchen but you will have to buy your own food and have to clean up after using the dishes. Good to explore Liverpool city, the birth place of Beatles and its rich history of football.
Sofa/floor space in a liberal and friendly ground-floor flat with outside space at the back. a five minute walk from the beautiful Sefton Park, which New York´s Central Park was modelled on. A short walk from Smithdown Road,a multi-cultural student area with a great selection of shops, bars and takeaway food. A short and pleasant walk from two large supermarkets. 10 minutes by bus from Liverpool city centre, via the number 86 which leaves every ten minutes during the day and runs throughout the night at half-hourly intervals. Feel free to use the kitchen, communal eating welcomed. Artists and Musicians welcome. Must be a cat lover!
Sofa in a student house 10 minute bus ride from city centre. House is just off smithdown road, a thriving student area with 12 good pubs in walking distance, there's also a selection of restaurants for all budgets, from the cheapest takeaways to classy thai and chinese food further up the road. Liverpool as the European Capital of Culture 2008 can offer entertainment for all tastes, from the theatre to the best nightclubs in the northwest. Liverpool is also an excellent base to explore England's beautiful northwest, including Manchester, the roman ruins at chester, and the countryside of the peak and lake districts.
We live in a one bedroomed flat in an ideal part of Liverpool. Just between Allerton and Sefton Park we are only 10 minutes from the city centre. Round the corner we have a two mile stretch of pubs and restaurants and for the more adventurous (or just plain stupid!) you can drink yourself silly on a huge pub crawl all the way to town! On the right side for the docks and really close to parks, shops, pubs, and clubs. Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, buy your own own food but I am sure we can sort you out with copious cups of tea and the odd bevvy! We have a double airbed and couch!
I am actually staying with people in Liverpool for the next year or so. I am Canadian and my actual home is in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Upon my return there I will update my information to reflect that and would be more than happy to accomodate people into Edmonton. There is some extra space in the home I am staying in as well, but would not include a private room. It is a house located in West Derby, a suburb of Liverpool, about a 15 minute bus ride into the city centre. Kitchen would be usable but you would have to buy your own food.
Spare room with a comfy double bed in a two bedroom terraced house in Mossley Hill in South Liverpool. My house is near to shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and two parks. It's a couple of minutes walk from the main bus route between the airport and the city centre so it's easy to get here by bus in about 15 minutes. You can use the kitchen no problem. My house is great for exploring Liverpool, which is European Capital of Culture this year, and is near to landmarks in the south of the city like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields.
Can Accomodate a blow-up bed in the lounge/living room of my student accomodation. The accomodation is situated in the centre of Liverpool UK meaning it is very close to everything - shops, pubs, clubs, restaurants and public transport.Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here but you will have to buy your own food. Our place would be a great base to explore Liverpool (awarded european city capital of culture 2008) and the UK.
