For a real Aussie experience stay on our private 15 acres of waterfront land in the Gippsland Lakes region. Breakfast with the kangaroos, look out for echidnas and go koala spotting. We can offer a spare guest room, Queen bed with private ensuite and tea/coffee bar. Happy to provide first meal as a welcome (vegetarian), however you will need to self cater apart from that. Accesible by train, bus and ferry. But probably best if you have your own car to make the most of the region's many points of interest. Three hours by car or train from Melbourne takes you to East Gippsland, Victoria. This is the starting point of the Wilderness Coast - the largest tract of undeveloped coast left in eastern Australia protected by a series of National Parks, nature reserves and Marine Parks.
Large 2 story 4 bedroom home with own facilities situated 250K from Melbourne on the Gippsland Lakes (the largest inland water/boating/sailing area in the Southern Hemisphere). We have 1 dog and enjoy peaceful lifestyle. No smokers or drugees please! Situated just off the Princes Highway between Sydney and Melbourne. Train to Bairnsdale takes about 3 hours from Melbourne. Shops, pub restaurants within walking distance.OK for couple.
Small backyard available for a small tent. Close walk to shops and the lakeside.
