Meet people prepared to show you the best of Pensacola Beach, Escambia!
If you're coming to Pensacola, this is the place to stay! We are four young (19,23,23,23) artists, writers, and professionals living in the downtown area in a flat above an Italian restaurant. We have many rooms and a couple couches to choose from (try them all!). We're centrally located to many interesting shops, museums, restaurants, an organic co-op, the beach, parks, bars, and clubs. We're a short hop to a bus stop that travels the city and pleasant walk to the post office. We're a short walk from the water and there's a nearby marina and fish market. Make sure you go there and get sushi and gelato! Every Thursday night in the summer, there is a local music festival in the park and you can sit on our balcony and watch or go down and mingle with the locals and dance. As roommates, we also attend a drum circle a few doors down following Music in the Park. Feel free to use our kitchen and in seasons of plenty, help yourself to our fruits and vegetables (we're avid gardeners, dumpster divers, and super resourceful!). We just ask that visitors be respectful of the other roommates, clean up after themselves, and in exchange for letting you crash, help us out with some of those mundane tasks like vacuuming, dishwashing, etc. We have a full-sized washer/dryer that you're welcome to use, as well as a safe spot to store bicycles. We're cat people, and we have three, so please be cat-friendly. We do, however, limit the kitties to the back half of the flat, so even those with some allergies can come, though you'll have to be in the same room as the cats to shower or work in the kitchen. Internet is limited, but we're located near the public library that allows you to check your email as long as you have your ID. We also have a turtle, some guppies, and two snails. One of the snails is named Sylvia Plath. We've all done some travelling and hope to repay some of the favors the universe gave us during our adventures and make some new friends!
I'm living in an apartment with several other people, kinda cramped, but anyone is always welcome, thers always a place to crash....bus stop out front very close to malls, resturants, etc. Yeah you defenatly would have to buy your own food thats kind of a touchy issue around here:-) Its crowded but on the plus side theres always sum1 to hang out with and show you around.
I supervise marketing campaigns and do PR for celebrities. When I return to the US (03,03,07), I will resume working on a national tour which means my available couch will continue to change locations. I stay in Hotels and typically 4-10days in each city. If you are overlanding in the U.S., I may be able to give you a ride as well.
Guest bedroom in a waterfront home on a barrier island. Great views. Easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa Rosa Sound. Access to the kitchen. Need a car to get around. Private bathroom with shower (no tub). Use of our bikes and paddle boards and a kayak.
I am with a friend, she is a girl, nineteen as well. We require very little for accomidation, a couch is fine or even a place on the floor will work with a blanket and pillow. We are kind of hippies so we really dont need much.
Small room with a full size bed, seperate bathroom, and closet. In the middle of residential neighborhood near the University of West Florida, 30 minutes from beaches. Free use of the kitchen, but buy your own food.
I have a two person tent available or if you have your own, I have plenty of space to set up your own. You will also have access to bathroom facilities
Looking for a place for my fiance and I to sleep we just moved here and don't have anywhere to stay we start our new jobs this week.
futon in living area. small apartment with 1 bath but nice size living room. Kitchen is also available with accomodations.
Comfortable couch in the side of our house that we rarely use. Quiet. BUT about 25 miles from the beach unfortunately.
