I live close to the northern part of Quezon City, the biggest city within Metro Manila. Right now, I am living with my sister and parents with two helpers. We have one spacious guest room which is very with a queen sized bed, air conditioning, wifi access, beddings, pillows and towels. We do not allow smoking inside our home although there is a nearby court where you can go for a drag. As for pets, we have 3 dogs, a chicken, and lots of fish. My home is 10 minutes away from our country's state university, the University of the Philippines (great place to play frisbee, soccer, or just hang out and enjoy). On the way to UP, we also have a rock-climbing facility. There are 2 vegetarian restaurants around the campus. There are around 3 parks around the area. One of them is the Quezon Memorial Circle where the first president of the commonwealth republic is buried. The park houses a mini museum, skating rink, bonsai garden, peace bell, bike area and playgrounds. Right across Quezon Memorial Circle is the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife.I haven't been there in years and all I remember is that there's this man-mad lake. About 30 minutes up north, we have the La Mesa Dam Ecopark, housing a wide range of foliage. Getting around is easy as we have several modes of public transpo such as taxi cabs, jeepneys and tricycles. During weekends, I can even drive you around. I love taking people around but I have work mondays-fridays. If you would stay with me, my freelancer friends can take you places on weekdays and i can tour you on weekends. five days would be good if we really hit it off, then you can certainly extend your stay.
Small room with a comfortable single bed and an airconditioned. we are located in the heart of quezon city, surrounded by my other relatives. we are so closed to the university of the philippines, we almost have everything inside the university campus, we got hospital, church, shopping malls, university hotel, bank..etc. almost everything a person needs are here.. Quezon city has its own wildlife park, a museum especially built in memory of the late President Manual L. Quezon in which u can see a lot of his personal belongings, memorabilia and lots of interesting stuffs about him. Feel free to use the family kitchen but you will have to buy your own food OR u can give money to my grandma and request a food from her. our place would be an ideal place to explore the old capital of the philippines.
Small couch in our main living room but u can also try on the floor provided with a pillow and clean smooth linen in the heart of Manila known as Quezon City. We are located just beside the famous and top universities in the Philippines namely, University of the Philippines and Ateneo de manila University inside and outside this universities are well known asian restaurants, public transport, church, hotel, condominiums, coffee shops and health service and a big oval if u feel to jog and exercise. Feel free to use the kitchen while u were here but u have to buy your own food or u can give money to my mother and she can cook or buy food for you. Must buy your own toiletries when using the bathroom or washing your own clothes. Our place would be a good base to relax while waiting for your last destination.
Sala with a big couch. This place is located at the back of a big mall, SM North Edsa and is near the MRT Rail system. Going to makati takes about 15 minutes and costs around 15 Pesos or about 25 cents (USD). 2 couples live in 2 separate adjacent rooms. I am filipino and so is my wife. My room mate is an Iraqi national and his wife is my sister-in-law. We have cable. You are free to use the shower and toilet. Just pay for your own food. But if you know how to cook something I dont know yet, I'll give you ingredients. I'll be happy to give you a tour around manila, Just pay the fare.
Just to let you know, I'm still living with my parents (that's Filipino culture!). We have a 3-bedroom house. I can spare 1 room for a 'freeloader'. It's just small with a single bed, good ventilation and a small fridge. We live close to the main road (so transpo is no problem), shopping centers, pubs and restaurants. Feel free to use the kitchen, if you feel like sharing your kind of taste with us! Going outside Manila is not a problem. We're near to bus stations. I just hope you don't expect too much about our place as it's old, but still comfy to live in!
I can offer a queen-size bed in the spare room of our two-bedroom apartment. Room is on the second floor, but toilet and bath is on the ground floor. Hot water available. City attractions (university, restaurants, malls) very accessible from our place by cab or jeepney or train. Feel free to use kitchen but provide own food. No smoking, drugs or heavy drinking allowed. I can show you around if I'm free and can give you good recommendations regarding outdoor travel in the Philippines.
Several mattresses are available but if my son's off to her grandma, you can use his room. There's another room which can easily be vacated by its occupants. My place is 10 minutes walk to the market, drugstore, hospital, golf course, train station and the 7th biggest mall in the world! Many cheap eateries around for $1 or less. From our place you can take the jeepney to the tourist section in downtown Manila. The first train station is located in our area which means you get a SEAT.
I live in a house with my parents, and three sisters. I can offer a mattress, dsl and a clean bathroom to one person at most at the moment. I can host you for three days at the most. We're located in a residential zone and our house is accessible by train and other public transporation. Though we're not exactly in the middle of town, we can point you to where to go. And if we get along, I may even take you around.
Mid-sized room with a comfortable queen-sized bed in my apartment, just a stone's throw away from Araneta Center. We are very close to everything - malls, clubs, restaurants and public transport (jeepneys, buses, LRT-2 and MRT). Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. Blankets are available, but not really needed with the warm Philippine climate.
Large comfortably cluttered house in a quiet neighborhood, near several shopping centers and artsy fartsy districts, a spit away from two train lines; We'll feed you if we like you, but otherwise you'll have to buy your own food and it would be nice if you're into sharing because that's how we roll in the Philippines. If you're planning to go out of town, we're near the bus stations as well.
