Meet people prepared to show you the best of Saint John!
Have a great yard, if the weather is fine you can pitch a tent, also possible to have a spare room, depends on the season an who is here etc. We are just outside of Saint John, unfortunately the buses are limited, there is a commuter bus in the morning and afternoon and there is usually someone who goes in and out of the city during the day that you could catch a ride with. The grocery store is close and in the summer there are farmers markets with local food items, feel free to use the kitchen. I also have a small yoga studio here and teach classes regularly.
I actually live on the island of Grand Manan. It's a one and one-half ferry ride out here from the boat terminal, which is 45 minutes west of Saint John, so if you can actually make it out here, we have a place for you to stay! There is an extra bed or coach for one or two people. You can use our kitchen, just buy your own food. The island has no public transport at ALL but people hitchike all the time here. A good idea would be to rent bikes to explore the place. It would take two-three hours to ride the island end to end.
I have a basement that has a couch in it that you can stay on for a few nights. I will not be home until Jan 2007. But you can e-mail me and we might be able to figure something out anyway. No Smoking, no Pets, buy your own food.We have wireless internet, and you can use our showers and washrooms. This place is a 10min drive from downtowna and a 5min walk from the bus stop and a 5min drive or a 45min walk from the University and Hospital.
House on the outskirts of town, spare bedroom with a double bed, and a back yard for tenting. Can host one person or a couple at a time. We are on the bus route, and it is about a half hour to forty-five minute ride into town. The bus only runs during the day from Monday to Saturday, so transportation can be tricky. Feel free to use the kitchen, but you will have to buy your own food.
We have a spare room with queen bed in our quaint home located on the St. Crois River in St. Stephen, NB. on the border of Maine USA. You can walk across the border from our home. A great gateway to the Atlantic provinces. Feel free to use our large new kitchen and or BBQ on the deck! You bring the food.
i actually have a roommate who isn't cool with the whole "open door" concept, so chances are slim that i have anything available. BUT, if the stars allign and she is alright with hosting, we have a couch. and it you're a couple, the couch is comfy enough for me to curl up on and you can claim my stakes.
It's a dank old couch that my dog has puked on, but I got it steam cleaned. Two non-allergenic dogs usually live on the couch, but they can take the floor if you need somewhere to crash. Live in the uptown area, so it is close to all the touristy crap you may want to see.
Pull out couch in our house in the town of Rothesay, close to Saint John. You would need a car for transportation to surrounding sites. Saint John is a really cool and historic and friendly place set right on the atlantic ocean.
I have a backyard with aprox 25 x 25 sq foot of space for a tent and room for bbq with a patio w 4chairs/table. Available only during the summer until end of august.
We rent a small apartment in the city centre. Nothing fancy, but we've got a spare couch. We are close to shops, transportation, historic sites, restaurants, etc.
