A clic-clak style futon in my living room in my tiny house in Salem, Oregon. Fresh sheets, warm down comforters and fluffy pillows provided, along with towels and tea or coffee. Use the kitchen and pile groceries in the fridge. No washer or dryer. Close to a main commercial street with everything you need, close to I5 for the road to Portland (an hour) or south to Eugene (an hour) or head west to the beautiful coast (also an hour!). I'm in the middle of wine country, with vineyards and tasting rooms dotted about everywhere. Farmers markets, craft markets, outdoor music and fairs keep you busy in warm weather.
Couch/chairs/floor space in the living room of a mid-sized apartment. Salem, OR (Marion county). Even though it is the capitol of Oregon, some consider Salem a boring city. But there are still some fun things you can do. My apartment is a 20 minute walk from downtown and a 2 minute walk from a very large park. It is a good neighborhood. Feel free to use the kitchen/patio/bathroom. Buy your own food if you eat a lot, or help me make dinner! (>_<)
I live in a large house, 5 rooms with 4 other college / graduate students as roommates. They are super friendly. Emerson is a cat that also lives here and will probably share the couch with you! We are located in downtown Salem, it isnt much but it is very relaxing especially in the summer. Cafes, transportation, capitol building, restaurants, theaters. Kitchen use, everyone shares a bathroom.
Spare room (also my home office) with a twin bed in my 2 bedroom apartment 4 blocks from downtown Salem. Across the street from the State Capitol bulding and state offices. There is an Amtrak station 6 blocks away, the I-5 a few miles. You may eat here, a grocery store is 2 blocks away for your food purchase. I appreciate neatness. This is a no smoking building.
Tent space in my back yard. I rent a room, but my landlord said you can pitch a tent. It's not bad, when it's not raining. And this is Oregon, so....what I'm really saying is I'd love to host you, but you'd have to shack up in my room which probably won't appeal most people. Unless you're a hard-core tent person. Then have at it!
Great house right next to the park. The couch is in the living room but we are pretty quiet and respectful roommates. Salem is about a 50 minute drive from Portland, the biggest city in Oregon. You will have to buy your own food, and as students we aren't home much, but will try to show you around town when we're around!
We have either a small room with a single bed, or a larger room with two singles, depending on who's at home and who's out travelling. We also have a sofa bed in the living room that fits 2. We live out in the country, about a 20 minute drive to McMinnville, half an hour drive to Salem, and an hour drive to Portland.
I live in a two bedroom apartment about 10 min from the capital of Oregon, Salem. I am one hour south of Portland, 20 min form Corvallis (Oregon State University) and one hour north of Eugene (University of Oregon). The town in Monmouth, and Western Oregon University is located here. The town is a small college town.
Twin size mattress in the office, or a couch in the living room. Live closer to the countryside but there are close bus stops that will take you downtown. Buses only run during the week, not weekends.
i live in a 1 bdrm with my boyfriend & a baby on the way. feel free to crash on the couch. if you have extra food that'd be good i have the munchies.
