I live in a one bedroom apartment, very small but cozy,with my boyfriend in hilltop tacoma. Its known for being the bad part of town, but I like it here, and I have really nice neighbors. I have a couch and an extra matress for sleeping, a bathroom to bathe in, and a kitchen but there isnt much food in it. we have a mouse and there is a stray cat we sometimes bring in. I live close to work, so I bicycle there everyday.we like to bicylcle. we are a couple blocks from 6th ave, everything fun is on 6th ave. lots of stores, food, and people everywhere. there are buses that run through here, but I am not familiar with them. a couple neat things that are around my area include the Museum of Glass, Point Defiance Zoo and aquarium and park, Old western mental hospital ruins, and Hells Kitchen venue wich is fun to go see some local music, drink, and play some pacman. also, seattle is about 45 minutes away.
Small house with 3 bedrooms. We can always try to bunk someone up and open up a room with single bed. We are close to bus routes, coffee shops, pizza place. About 30 minutes south of Seattle. In Tacoma, there are a few universities, the weather is usually mild all year. No smoking in the house. No drugs, at all. We are a typical family, married almost 20 years with 3 kids at home. If you are looking for low key, this is it. We don't mind sharing meals, there is always a family meal in the evening. We speak only English, but can attempt some Spanish. I teach, and my husband is a carpentor. We have traveled to Thailand, Candada, Argentina and across the States. Wi fi is here.
I travel several times a year and it would be mutually convenient to have someone stay when I do. Otherwise, I would love to host someone and provide a bed and even breakfast. Tacoma is 45 minutes south of Seattle, and my home is in a small urban neighborhood with a weekly Farmer's Market about 50 feet away. Within a two-block walking distance are several restaurants, a theater, library, grocery store, gift shops and boutiques, and even a bowling alley. About ten minutes from the nearby Interstate.
Comfy couch and lots of floor space. I live in a house with three others and a great dog. Our house is walking distance from the best breakfast place in the world as well as many bars and parks. The busline that can take you up to Seattle is a managable distance as is the train to Portland and beyond! If you are lucky I might even make you a delicious vegetarian dinner.
I have a small studio apartment very close to downtown Tacoma, Museum of Glass, University of Washington Tacoma campus, Puget Sound, Commencement Bay, local and regional buses. We are a mid sized city approximately 45 minutes to one hour bus ride to Seattle. You are welcome to use the kitchen and buy your own food. You will be sleeping on a single airbed in my studio.
(currently traveling and cannot accept any visitors) We've got one spare room with two comfortable twin-sized beds in a three bedroom house in south tacoma. Close to Lincoln park, freeway entrances, grocery store, bus stop (just a short bus ride to downtown, with shops and art museums, including the great Glass Museum), restaurants and a Vietnamese area of town.
Large comfortable couch in the tacoma located a few blocks away from the University of Puget Sound. Close to lots of bars, but about a 40 minute drive from Seattle. You can use our kitchen, but you have to buy your own food. If you are lookinf for something a little far from seattle but still nice little place, youve found the right spot.
Plenty of tent space in the back yard, plus use of the bathroom and kitchen in the house. Electricity available, too. This will be available to you through August 20. After that, I'll be traveling the globe from September 1 through February 18. Starting March 1, I'll be back in the USA and ready to share a spare room with you, hooray!
My girlfriend and I live in a one-bedroom in downtown Tacoma. We have a couch in the living room, and we're walking distance from the train station (which can take you to Seattle in under forty-five minutes). Tacoma is close to Vancouver Canada also and Portland, Oregon. There's not much to recommend the town itself though.
A queen size comfortable air mattress in the living-room of a clean brand new condo. We are close to Olympia, Lacey, Lakewood and Tacoma. Seattle is an hour away and Portland is two hours away by car. Feel free to use the kitchen with your own food.Bathroom is shared.
