I have a free couch for travelers in my one bedroom apartment. In Hawaii there is plenty of public transportation and lots of places to see in the day and night. I will be happy to go around with you in my spare time or out at night around the weekends too.
Convenient location at the entrance of Waikiki. Shared two bedroom condo with my female roomate, has a fold down sofa available in the living room. It's probably best for a single, or couple. An easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. A couple of blocks to the bus line which will take you to the airport and all areas of the island. You are welcome to make use of our kitchen. We only have one bathroom, so we would need to all share that as well. Lanai with city view. Computer access. Central pool and BBQ grill. Coin Laundry. I've been in Hawaii for 12 years, and in Waikiki for 3, so I have a pretty good knowlege of the islands. I can give you plenty of suggestions or show you around a little if I have the time.
I just relocated from the Wash DC area so there are still boxes and stuff in the unit. We don't have much room but let us know anyway and we'll see what we can do... Couch in the living room or air mattress in the 2nd bedroom (my office/study). Unit is a 2-BR/1BA condo in Waikiki (island of Oahu), 4 blocks from the beach/shops/restaurants/hotels. The place is 8 miles from the airport. Good staring point for exploring the city on foot or public transit. Kitchen is available for heating food or light cooking only. Please supply your own food and expect to travel on your own most of the time. We will answer any questions you have and give you some orientation and directions.
