Meet people prepared to show you the best of Windsor!
We have a comfortable Guest room with double bed and bath. Not in the city but only a 15 min. drive. You may use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to provide you own food. We both work, but if we are home during your stay with us we would love to show you around. We are located on the border of ONtario Canada and the United States. We are a 3 hr drive to Niagara Falls and a 4 hr drive to Toronto.
Have a great downstair area that can comfortably sleep a person or a gruop of two or theree people. Brand new house so the basements is nice. I can offer a couch and/or a spareroom. Windsor, in right next to the Michigan boarder so with your passport you can cross into the U.S. The whiole home would be accesable to the traveller, they would have a bathroom as well as open to nice kitchen livingroom etc.
Medium room with a good single bed in a Medium sized 3 bedroom house near the University of Windsor and the Detroit River. Public transit is close and can take you everywhere easily. Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you will have to buy your own food. Our place would be a great place to visit both Windsor and Detroit since public transit will take you to Detroit.
We are a family of 4, we have all the equipment to camp, and would all sleep in an extra room if available during our travels in the United States. We have a van and all our own camping gear for wilderness and it would be nice to stay in a city or town to see local culture, go for walks, and enjoy new friendships should we meet any GFR hosts, thank you!
The softest couch in the entire world! I'm close to public transport and all ammenities including restaurants, supermarket, shopping, and pubs. The kitchen and laundry are free to use, however you'll have to supply your own food (and clothes!). My apartment is a great jumpoff point for entering the U.S. (via Detroit).
Okay - I am currently travelling and, consequently, between homes. I will most likely be setting up base again in London UK, but possibly Toronto, Vancouver.. Lord knows really. As soon as I have settled, I will let everyone know.
A couch in our home in a lovely older neighbourhood in Windsor. We are on a bus route, not too far from the downtown area, and just a 5 minute walk from churches, restaurants, and a wooded park area.
Small room in a ghetto-ish house near the University campus and downtown bar area, open until someone moves in. If it's taken, there is still a basement complete with matress (actually clean!)
Living room couch in a student house. On the west end of town, near the University and bridge/tunnel to Detroit.
Mattress in basement of house. The house is close to downtown Windsor, and the University of Windsor.
