I have a sofa for 1 or I can bunk up with my daughter so 2 guests can use my room with queen bed and own bathroom. It's a 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath townhouse in Washington, DC suburb of Woodbridge, VA. Buses available for transport within the county and to metrorail stop. Unless you live downtown, everything takes some time to get to here. I live near major interstate highway I-95. You will have use of kitchen as long as you clean up after yourself or are welcome to share some meals. I am a single working mom, so I can only serve as a guide on some weekends. Otherwise I can direct you to the surrounding areas, sites and events. 1-2 hrs to mountains, wineries, horseback riding, white water rafting, hiking, < 1 hr to DC's museums and night life, 3 hrs to MD and DE beaches, 2 hrs to amusement parks and historic Williamsburg/Jamestown, and there are shopping malls everywhere (travel time depends on traffic here in the Nation's capital).
I have a small room with a comfy queen size bed but if your not down for that you can sleep the couch, feel free to use the bathroom and I live in a house. You can use the kitchen just clean up after yourself, also you would need to buy your own groceries. The bus stop is block down the street. Tons of restaurants near by and the mall is a couple of minutes away. Also if your down to hike or camp there are several places go to explore, ill point you to my favorite spots. Im free to show you around VA. I'm 20 min away from DC, thats without traffic though haha.
Basement room with a futon. It is part of our common area, as the work out equipment & laundry are down there, though the room does have doors. So, it's private for sleeping, but during the day is open. We are in a sunny, TH near a pond, 20 miles south of DC. Though we are not near the metro, you can walk to commuter bus stops which run to the city M-F. The last bus leaves the city at 7:45pm. Can walk to grocery, drugstore, coffee shop & other stores. Also, Prince William has a decent local bus system; this stop is in walking distance too.
two bedrooms: one with 2 twin beds and one with a queen size bed. house is located about 20 miles from washington, d.c. the nearest train station can take 20 minutes to reach. shops are within 5-10 miles. we have no animals nor want any. children are welcome. we do not smoke nor will accommodate smokers. there is one guest bathroom. feel free to use the kitchen but you will have to purchase your own food and will be required to clean up afterward.
small room in basement of townhouse. has a comfortable futon for sleeping, with a private bath (w/shower) in the basement also. this is a suburb of Washington, D.C. (it's a drive or an hour bus/train ride) into the city. it's near a grocery store--short walk--and some restaurants. feel free to use the kitchen, but you'll have to buy your own food...or join in if we're cooking (which we often do)
Cat friendly, smoke and drug free home. Room with queen size bed in two story five bedroom house located 30 miles south of Washington D.C. Nearest bus stop is a 10 minute walk away that could take you to train station. 20 minute walk to strip malls for food and drink. If we're available, we'd be happy to show you around.
I have an air mattress at this time in my living room. I am renovating a bed room and then I will have a real bed in there. I am in the suburbs about 30 minutes south of the District of Columbia. You will need a car to get around. I am about a mile from the nearest bus stop.
a couch, maybe a single room in a two bedroom apartment in Woodbridge,Virginia. Close to everything so no worries there. We are also 30 mins away form Washington D.C. and Maryland. Plenty of tourist attractions. Will share food.
Small room with a twin bed in a 2 bedroom basement apartment. I am 20 miles South of Washington, DC. On weekdays, there are commuter rail and buses nearby.
Spare room, my room (rarely in it except to change clothes), and a lot of comfortable couches to sleep on.
