We live in a small town near Rotterdam. Rotterdam is a big city very attractive for tourists and has all sorts of cultural events.It also has a cool nightlife. Our home is near the trainstation, so you'll be in the city in 15 minutes. Travel to Amsterdam by train is ofcourse also possible, that will take about an hour. We don't have a garden, but live in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood so it's easy to go outdoors and make nice walks and such. You can also take a ferry which is nearby, to go to Dordrecht and shop. That will only take a ferry 'ride' of a couple of minutes. We have a guestroom/ attic with a queenbed and the house is situated on the ground and first flour.
Single bed or 2p mattress in spare room of a family house in Zwijndrecht (right next to Dordrecht and in the suburb area of Rotterdam, 20 min by train). We are at walking distance of the local mall, the boat to Dordrecht (from Dordrecht you can take a boat to Kinderdijk with many windmills) and near a train station. Zwijndrecht itself is a small city/village, besides some local pubs there is not much to do.
